The Choracles Video
The Choracles originated as a 2d & 360 video. This virtual environment revealed a dystopian robot choir singing on a snowy mountain, while dissenters scream from under glass. Each Choracle is synced in song and appearance.
It's a clan.
As I began creating this augmented reality version, ROE had just been overturned. The Choracles donned vestments. Their tunes became a repetitive, with two singing characters, and one screaming. The experiences are not synced and will change as each participant adds their phone audio to the chorus.
The Choracles AR
A 2022 Augmented Reality configuration of the Choracles, featuring three combos of figures singing/screaming.
The experience changes as the audience creates the chorus, depending on when they launch the experience, and which QR code they choose. Debuted at SPRING/BREAK Art Show NYC 2022.
