2025 - BattleDance was created for the VIVERSE HTC Creators Program.
“An immersive events venue closes but leaves on the lights…and the animatrons.”
The company failed, the people left, but somehow the show goes on. You pass through six areas, one being a Sky Station control room. Here you click glowing orbs to find you are triggering the events below.
No one knows how this will end.

Phone: Tap/drag finger from round reticule to move through space. Tap and drag outside reticule to look around.
Computer Screen: use arrow keys or w,s,a,d keys to move, mouse to rotate view. Add shift key to move faster.
VR: Right toggle for transport locomotion, Left toggle for smooth/continuous locomotion.

Follow moving dots and visual cues for direction through. There are invisible boundaries in areas to keep you on track.
In VR, Right toggle button for transport locomotion (but may fall and need to restart)
Left toggle for smooth motion/glide (Slower, but you will not fall out of experience)

2025 - 3DGS “splat” reconstruction of a virtual world, which is inspired by Carla’s 1990s painting of the same title. “Wistful and Ironic” music composed by Carla using VR instrumentation.

Environment rotates slowly which may cause nausea in VR. Limit viewing time or close eyes while moving.
